A warm welcome and complimentary wee dram await you at ‘Hentilagged’, a newly built house situated in the North West area of the Isle of Skye.

We are ideally situated for exploring the island being just 12 miles from Portree, the island’s capital, and 10 miles from Dunvegan, home of the MacLeod Clan with its world famous castle and gardens. The nearest village to Hentilagged is Edinbane, which is approximately 2 miles away.

Whilst staying at Hentilagged, you could take a short stroll down to the rocky beaches at Kildonan and Fanks and discover breathtaking views from the shore; watch graceful Gannets diving at great speeds; Otters surfacing after diving for their supper; the shadow of a Sea Eagle passing overhead or simply do a spot of beach combing or rock pooling. There is all this and more to be discovered during your stay.


	In the evenings you are welcome to sit in your guest lounge and sip tea, coffee or something a little stronger whilst reading one of our many books, maps or leaflets. In the winter months, there will be a log burner to keep out the northern chill.

Unfortunately, we do not provide evening meals but can recommend local restaurants and eateries. We can even organise a taxi to and from the place of your choice, should you so wish. We do, however, provide packed lunches on request.

You will find that Hentilagged is a fine choice for your stay in Skye and we will do our utmost to ensure a comfortable and memorable time.
